Wellframe wants to help fix your broken heart

Heart disease is a leading cause of death and hospitalization in the U.S., and those who survive it go home with a fairly large manual of care for their recovery. For many patients, the information can be overwhelming, but for the team at Wellframe, there’s an app for that. The Wellframe app matches the patient (user) with an activation code from their clinician and syncs the patient’s clinical program to their mobile device. The app sends a daily cardiac rehabilitation to-do list and reminders. Plus, clinicians can interact with the user through a related Web dashboard. If this is as helpful as it looks to speed cardiac rehabilitation, could a strategic partnership with a health insurer be far behind?
