Everybody knows that people on Wall Street make a billion dollars before lunchtime…wait, no. That’s just what people think Wall Street really earns. Most folks don’t even understand what Wall Street exactly is, let alone what the people who fill its ranks actually make for a living. At long last, Forbes has conducted a private poll of its own to see what the average salaries for a wide range of Wall Street careers are, and the results might surprise you. There are still a lot of people making a lot of money (including summer interns scoring $800 bonuses), but it isn’t quite the land of golden toothbrushes for all involved, either.
