We often hear from members of the public on both sides of the political chasm that they are exasperated by the gridlock and defensive play calling going on in Washington. He argues that it is not enough for Republicans to sit quietly, compromise when necessary, and plot for their preeminence in 2016. Rather, they must stymie every effort put forth by the Obama administration so the next GOP administration does not spend its first term unraveling the “nanny state.”
