In December, there was more voluntary work turnover – that is, people quitting their jobs to move on for something better – than at any other time since the start of the Great Recession. Last month, employees who left of their own volition, says the Bureau of Labor Statistics, made up 53 percent of all job separations. Not necessarily a strong sign of recovery, but a positive one, nonetheless.
