In an interview with Bloomberg News, NAIC president Jim Donelon suggested that President Obama needs to delay the planned October implementation date for health insurance exchange, or else “chaos” with subsidized insurance plans will result. The NAIC, which represents state insurance regulators, has regularly criticized any initiative that suggests a federal overtone to insurance oversight.
