Minnesota agencies have souped up a Web tool that consumers can use to shop for nursing home care.
The Minnesota Department of Human Services and the Minnesota Department of Health have unveiled a new, updated version of the state’s Nursing Home Report Card system.
Consumers in the state have been able to use the system to get nursing home quality data since 2006.
In the past, consumers had to rely on a static set of quality indicators and look at quality data for one facility at a time.
