Say what you will about the Millennial generation, but a survey by Financial Finesse shows they do have a pretty good handle on their finances. Half of them have an emergency fund compared to 42 percent of Gen Xers. More than 60 percent of those under age 30 pay off their credit card bill versus 47 percent of 30- to 44-year-olds. Still, almost no one says they are prepared for retirement. One-quarter of early boomers say they are prepared compared to 18 percent of late boomers, 15 percent of Gen Xers and 17 percent of Millennials.
