Mitt Romney, on 60 Minutes, cites emergency room as health care option for uninsured

In 2007, Mitt Romney told a radio talk show that he viewed the idea of uninsured people getting free care from emergency rooms as a form of socialism. Romney suggested Sunday, during an interview aired on “60 Minutes,” that providing care through an emergency room might be a good way for some states to help the uninsured.
