When Hearsay Social launched, the plan was to help a variety of companies with social marketing. But, increasingly, Hearsay is finding its bread and butter lies with insurance companies. The company just added Allstate, Primerica and Country Financial to its client list, which already counts Farmers Insurance and Northwestern Mutual as members. A former New York Life executive just joined the company’s board.

The company can at least partly thank regulators for its success in the field. Compliance concerns among agents and carriers boost the value and necessity of Hearsay, which  provides a pool of pre-okay’d content for agents to post to their social feeds.
