Greed might make for a good movie plot—as seen in Oliver Stone’s 1987 film “Wall Street,” but left unsupervised, greed can make for a great horror movie—as seen in the very real-life financial crisis of 2008. Making the crisis even scarier is that it has been going on for four years now with an end nowhere in sight. What if capitalism’s focus on greed is perpetuating the nightmare? Sticking with the cinematic theme—some think this crisis is in need of a plot-twist, such as an underdog with a new capitalistic approach.
