James Victore: Your work is a gift (The 99 Percent)

James Victore started in graphic design “wanting to do work that mattered. I had a goal to change the world.” One idea that he reminds his small studio of three of—to drive them all—is: In the particular, lies the universal. “Which means if you do a really good job—of telling your story, of putting your life, of putting your interest, your loves and your fears—into your work, it will have resonance with other people,” Victore says. “Your work is a gift. The world is waiting for your gift. Give it to them.”
