U.S. Commerce Secretary John Bryson suffered a seizure in connection with two hit-and-run crashes Saturday in San Gabriel Valley, Calif. “He was taken to the hospital for examination and remained overnight for observation. He was released and has returned to Washington. The investigation is ongoing,” said Jennifer Friedman, director of public affairs at the Commerce Department. Bryson allegedly rear-ended a Buick stopped at a train crossing. He spoke to the Buick’s owner, left the location in his car. Bryson struck the Buick a second time and continued on before allegedly crashing into another vehicle. He was found alone and unconscious behind the wheel of his car, and cited for felony hit-and-run.
