Analysis of the Arguments — The Supreme Court Health Care Challenges (New York Times)

The oral arguments challenging the constitutionality of the health reform law before the Supreme Court wrapped up in March. Those not lucky enough to get a seat inside the chamber – and there are quite a few who didn’t – have to rely on audio recordings and typed transcripts to know what happened. But with the arguments clocking in at an extraordinary six hours, who has the time to listen to or read it all? Well, the New York Times collected the most important parts of the arguments, synced the audio to the typed transcripts, included their own analysis at each turn, and put it all in a 50-minute package. Still don’t have that kind of time to spare? At least skip to the final day of arguments when the Justices get a little zany and Chief Justice Roberts has to call them to order.
