OneAmerica Promotes John Mason to Chief Investment Officer
OneAmerica Financial Partners, Inc. announced Tuesday that John Mason has been promoted to CIO. He succeeds Dave Sapp, who is retiring after 43 years with the company.
Mason has 26 years of investment experience with the OneAmerica companies, most recently serving as vice president of the investment division. In that role, Mason was responsible for $11.8 billion of fixed income assets for all OneAmerica affiliates and the OneAmerica Series of mutual funds.
Van Eck’s Market Vectors Adds High Yield Portfolio Manager
Market Vectors ETFs announced March 30 that Francis Rodilosso has joined the firm’s investment team as portfolio manager of the upcoming Market Vectors International High Yield Bond ETF (IHY). He will work alongside Portfolio Manager Michael Mazier on the fixed income team.
Prior to joining, Rodilosso spent two years as managing director of global emerging markets with The Seaport Group. Before that, he was a founding partner with Soundbrook Capital LLC. Earlier, he spent several years as managing director, portfolio manager and head of risk management with Greylock Capital Management, and held senior level fixed income positions with both Credit Lyonnais and HSBC Securities.
BlackRock Adds Emerging Markets Debt Specialists
BlackRock, Inc. announced Tuesday that seven emerging market specialists will be joining BlackRock from BNP Paribas Investment Partners to form a new emerging markets debt team. The new team will be led by Sergio Trigo-Paz and will be based in London.
