New York Life Names Robert Petrocelli, Jr., Council Vice President

New York Life Insurance Company has named Robert H. Petrocelli, Jr., as council vice president, an honor bestowed annually on the New York Life agent with the second-highest performance achievements in the entire company.

As council vice president, Mr. Petrocelli is a leader of the company's national field force comprising 11,900 licensed New York Life agents.

"Reaching the council vice president distinction at New York Life is an impressive achievement and recognizes Bob as one of company's finest agents whose dedicated service practices are unparalleled. All of us in the New York Life family are proud of his outstanding accomplishment," said Mark W. Pfaff, executive vice president, New York Life.

Petrocelli has represented New York Life for 32 years and is a member of MDRT, an international, independent association of nearly 36,000 of the world's leading life insurance and financial services professionals from more than 430 companies in 78 countries. MDRT membership is recognized internationally as the standard of sales excellence in the life insurance and financial services business.

Petrocelli is a registered representative and financial advisor whose business focus is meeting the financial needs of pre-retired and retired people, small businesses and middle-income and high-net-worth families. He serves families and businesses throughout the New York area from his office in New York City.  Petrocelli grew up in Larchmont, N.Y., and currently lives in Rye, N.Y., with his wife Anne and their son Christopher. 

"We always aim to over-deliver on the service side," said Petrocelli. "We have clients say, 'Am I your only client?' It's important that they know we're always there for them. My priority is to treat my clients like I want to be treated."
