Among the top 100, some of the highest salaries are surprising, considering their companies’ profit over the past 12 months, as defined by stock price performance. Including base salary, perks, cash bonuses, equity awards, and any increase in pensions or retirement benefits, the top eight overpaid executives of 2010 are:
