SilverCensus.com Inc., a company that runs a senior care Web guide, has formed an alliance with LTC Financial Partners L.L.C.

SilverCensus.com, Palm Beach Gardens, Calif., gives consumers the ability to search for facilities such as nursing homes by city or by ZIP code and get the kind of information a high school student might get about colleges from a Web-based college guide.

The site describes the kinds of services a facility provides, the kinds of payment the facility accepts, and other details.

LTC Financial, Kirkland, Wash. – a firm that specializes in LTC insurance sales – is making general information about long-term care insurance (LTCI) options available through the SilverCensus.com site and providing a Web form that consumers can use to ask for more information.

Michael Adams, the president of SilverCensus, said his firm sees the main audience for the site as being baby boomers.

Many boomers who should have thought about LTCI have not, and LTC Financial Partners is in a good position to help those boomers learn about the available options, Adams said.

Jonas Roeser, an LTC Financial vice president, called the wave of boomers about to start entering LTC facilities a “Silver Tsunami.”
