Financial Planning Association Celebrates 10th Annual Financial Planning Week

The Financial Planning Association (FPA) announced details of its 10th annual Financial Planning Week, a week-long event dedicated to raising public awareness about the value of financial planning and helping individuals make smart financial decisions. FPA chapters have events scheduled throughout October to educate Americans on the financial planning process. 

“Financial Planning Week is the perfect opportunity to educate Americans about the financial planning process and the positive impact it can have on their financial futures,” said Marvin W. Tuttle, Jr. CAE, Executive Director and CEO of the Financial Planning Association. “I am continuously inspired by the extent that FPA chapters and members volunteer to help improve the lives of those in their communities.”

 Financial Planning Week activities include:

  • Personal finances seminars that focus on the basics of financial planning, budgeting, saving for retirement and much more
  • One-on-one financial planning counseling sessions
  • Telephone hotlines
  • Junior Achievement educational programs
