Tooley to head insurance solutions distribution at Lincoln

Lincoln Financial Distributors, the wholesale distribution subsidiary of Lincoln Financial Group, has named Tom Tooley, CLU, ChFC, its head of insurance solutions distribution.

Tooley will be responsible for leading distribution of Lincoln’s life insurance and executive benefits businesses. He has been with Lincoln since 2010, when he joined as national sales manager of the company’s independent planner channel. Previously, Tooley served as a senior executive responsible for life insurance distribution at The Hartford and held leadership positions with Travelers Life & Annuity, Smith Barney and Citigroup, and Aetna Life & Casualty. He holds a bachelor’s from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
