Noncompliant forms lead the list of issues state market conduct examiners cite when dinging life and health insurers.

Analysts at Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, Waltham, Mass., a division of Wolters Kluwer N.V., Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands, came up with the list by reviewing state market conduct exam results.

Failure to use licensed and appointed producers, or to keep proper track of producer appointments and terminations, ranks second on the list.

Failure to properly acknowledge, pay, investigate or deny claims within specified time frames ranks third.
