Securian fills three key slots

The Securian Financial Group has named, pictured from left to right, Kathleen L. Pinkett, Nancy R. Swanson and Mark A. Baltes to three key senior management positions.

Pinkett will serve as senior vice president, Human Resources and Corporate Services. She has been with Securian since 1981, when she was hired as an assistant analyst in Management Services, and most recently served as vice president, Human Resources and Corporate Services. She has a bachelor’s degree from Macalester College.

Swanson is now vice president and corporate compliance officer. She has worked at Securian since 1970 and, since 2005, had served as second vice president, overseeing development and implementation of the company’s corporate compliance program as well as information security.

Baltes has been named vice president, Technical Services. He joined Securian in 1979 as a database production trainee and most recently served as second vice president for Technical Services. He holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Cloud State University and a master’s from the University of Minnesota.
