Former Denver Bronco joins life insurance practice

Dan Neil, who played for the Denver Broncos for eight seasons, has joined the life insurance practice at the Austin, Texas, office of Wortham Insurance & Risk Management.

“When I was playing in the NFL, a lot of people tried to sell me a variety of life insurance products,” Neil says. “I was always skeptical because I felt like they were simply trying to make a commission and were not looking out for my best interest. A former University of Texas football player, Neil has been active in the Austin community following his NFL career and hosts a local sports radio program. Neil has two Super Bowl rings from his years with the Broncos.
