OptumHealth has agreed to acquire another health care technology and business services company.

OptumHealth, Eden Prairie, Minn. – a unit of UnitedHealth Group Inc., Minnetonka, Minn. (NYSE:UNH) — has agreed to acquire Connextions Inc., Orlando, Fla.

Optum Health has focused mainly on providing support services for health plans and other health care payers.

Connextions helps health insurers, health insurance exchange programs and consumer-oriented businesses sell to consumers and manage other consumer communications through call centers and through the Internet.

Connextions agents also provide plan navigation and physician appointment scheduling services.

OptumHealth is not saying how much it will be paying for Connextions, but it says Connextions will keep its current name and its current facilities in Orlando; Charlotte, N.C.; Concord, N.C.; Louisville, Colo.; and Jeffersonville, Ind.

OptumHealth hopes to close on the deal by Sept. 30.
