The Life Insurers Council (LIC) has honored H. Stacy Boyer with its 2011 Distinguished Service Award.
Boyer is vice president, division general counsel and secretary for Monumental Life Insurance Company. She has served as chair of the LIC’s laws and legislation committee since 1997 and as chair of the LIC board of directors in 2008.
“Her dedicated service to the board has been indispensible as she shared her extensive experience and insight, helping the organization transition to the next level as we merged with LOMA,” says Jeffrey Shaw, LIC executive director. “I am pleased that we can recognize her significant contribution to the LIC.”
Established in 1990, the Distinguished Service Award is given annually to a person who has greatly contributed to the LIC and its members.
