Oregon Enters IIPRC

Oregon has become the 41st member of the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Commission (IIPRC).

The Beaver State joined the IIPRC, Washington, when Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber, D, signed H.B. 2095 into law.

Alabama, Nevada and New Jersey have joined the IIPRC earlier this year.

The IIPRC is a voluntary group that tries to simplify the product filing process for insurers. An insurer can send a single form to the IIPRC rather than having to submit separate forms to dozens of different states.
