Wendy Ebner will be the new president of the New Jersey Association of Health Underwriters (NJAHU).
Ebner is the director of business development at Savoy Associates Inc., Hamilton, N.J., according to NJAHU, Westfield, N.J.
NJAHU represents health insurance agents, brokers, consultants and other benefits professionals in New Jersey.
Ebner is the NJAHU president-elect and conference chair. She also has been president of the group’s South Chapter.
Ebner says she wants NJAHU to help show the public that the rising cost of medical care is the primary reason for the increase in health insurance costs.
Ebner will start a 1-year term that starts July 1.
