Members of the Comfort Zone Camp team, which provides a grief-therapy based recreational camp experience for children aged 7 to 17 who have lost a parent, sibling or primary caregiver, take a break from their daily activities to accept a $25,000 donation from the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Foundation and MDRT life-time member Scott Salinas, CFS, CLTC (back row, third from right).
“The MDRT Foundation commends Comfort Zone Camp and the work they are doing for children who have tragically suffered the untimely death of a close family member,” said MDRT Foundation President Robelynn H. Abadie, LUTCF, RFC. “We hope this funding will help CZC provide continued services and opportunities to help these children persevere through such trying times.”
Salinas, an 11-year MDRT member and Bronze Knight from Wall, N.J, sponsored the grant and has volunteered as a “Big Buddy” mentor for CZC campers.
