Neace Lukens Acquires Ohio Benefit

Neace Lukens Inc. has acquired Ohio Benefit Group L.L.C.

Neace Lukens, Columbus, Ohio, is an insurance broker that was founded in 1991 and now has 150 licensed agents and about 500 employees in the Midwest, the Southeast and the Southwest.

Ohio Benefit, Fremont, Ohio, was founded in the 1980s by Tim Paradiso and Jerry Batt. The firm sells group and individual health insurance, dental insurance, vision benefits, disability insurance, short-term medical insurance, wellness programs, and other employee benefits products and services.

The Ohio Benefit office will now run as an extension of Neace Lukens’ office in Columbus.

Neace Lunkens notes that it recently acquired two other benefits firms – the Hampson Agency, Lancaster, Ohio, and Insurance First Agency, Columbus.
