iPipeline, which provides marketing, selling and processing software for the insurance industry, has earned the Life Insurance Direct Marketing Association (LIDMA) seal of approval for its PolicyEX product.

Policy EX is an interactive e-policy solution aimed at reducing costs and processing time while improving the consumer experience. The LIDMA recognition makes iPipeline the first company within the United States to receive recognition for an e-policy product.

PolicyEX implements several aspects of the LIDMA e-Process, criteria developed by LIDMA members that uses technologies, such as e-signature and e-delivery, to speed consumer policy purchases and lower costs for insurance providers and policyholders.

“iPipeline has been an industry leader in adopting and utilizing critical aspects of the LIDMA e-Process,” says Pat Wedeking, president of LIDMA. “iPipeline’s efforts as an early adopter have been important to driving the integration of the LIDMA e-Process throughout the industry.”
