Track-Life L.L.C. says a life settlement company has hired it to service a $750 million life settlement portfolio for 5 years.
Track-Life, Atlanta, is not disclosing the name of the client, but it says the life settlement portfolio holds about 300 life insurance policies.
Track-Life is helping to manage policies that could pay a total of about $3 billion in death benefits, the firm says.
Track-Life monitors medical evaluations of the insureds, checks each week to see whether the insureds are still alive, helps with the filing of death claims, collects information about carrier ratings, and provides data streams that clients can use to analyze life settlement portfolios.
Track-Life also can arrange for someone to contact insureds on a regular basis and administer premium payments.
