Edward Bonach is set to succeed Susan Waring as chairman of MIB Group Inc. in May.

Timothy Walsh will be the next vice chairman.

MIB, Braintree, Mass., is a consortium that helps its 450 member life and health insurers control risk by collecting underwriting information about individual insurance applicants.

Bonach is chief financial officer of CNO Financial Group Inc., Carmel, Ind. (NYSE:CNO). Walsh is president of Farm Family Life Insurance Company, Glenmont, N.Y.

Waring will stay on the MIB board as the group’s immediate past chair, and Lee Oliphant continues to be the group’s president.
