Digital Insurance Expands in Virginia

Digital Insurance Inc. has added Dominion Benefits L.L.C. to its distribution network.

Digital Insurance, Atlanta, has described its new relationship with Dominion Benefits, Glen Allen, Va., both as an “acquisition” and as a “partnership.” Representatives from the companies were not immediately available to discuss whether the deal amounts to an acquisition of all of Dominion Benefits or a portion, or if Digital Insurance has simply acquired the rights to share in group benefits fee and commission revenue.

Dominion Benefits has a 25-member staff and customers in Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia and the District of Columbia. It also has patented analytical tools.
