The National Life Group has appointed Bob Cotton, CFA, CPA, CTP, FLMI, its chief financial officer and senior vice president.
In his new position, Cotton will be responsible for all financial operations of National Life Group and will work with Mehran Assadi, the company’s president and CEO, on strategy and business development.
Cotton joined National Life in 1993 as a staff auditor. He worked his way up in the company and served as treasurer for six years before being appointed senior vice president for finance last January. Cotton is a graduate of Clarkson University and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Vermont.
“Bob’s deep knowledge of National Life Group and his broad familiarity with the entire financial services industry will be of tremendous value as we execute our plans for the future,” Assadi says.
