SunGard Acquires Stratix Consulting

SunGard has acquired Stratix Consulting.

SunGard, a software and technology service company based in Wayne, PA., acquired Toronto-based Sratix Consulting, a provider of IT consulting services to Canada’s wealth, investment management and insurance sectors in order to better serve the Canadian market.

Stratix Consulting will become part of SunGard Global Services, and Cedric Packham, president and managing partner of Stratix Consulting will become managing partner of the financial services practice in Canada and report to Doug Wendler, president of SunGard Global Services in the Americas, according to SunGuard

“Stratix Consulting supports our commitment to providing comprehensive business and technology solutions to the financial services industry in Canada,” says Wendler.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
