The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Foundation is set to begin work on a new playground in Liverpool, England — part of a years-long project to build play areas in under-served locations.

Since 2002, the MDRT Foundation has partnered with Kids Around the World (KIDS) to build playgrounds in several countries, including Thailand, China, and the United States. MDRT volunteers build the playgrounds over the course of several days and fund all travel and accommodations themselves.

The MDRT Foundation will complete more playgrounds this year. Volunteers recently finished one in Santiago, Chile. Work on the playground in Liverpool — where 40% of residents are considered “income deprived” — will be completed by the end of the month.

“With the building of each new playground, a community is provided a gathering place, and its children are given the opportunity to learn valuable life lessons while truly enjoying being young, says Tony Gordon, an MDRT member and past president from Bristol, England. “Many MDRT members have provided financial gifts, time and labor to actively support the KIDS mission once again.”
