Do you know a woman who is an inspirational, powerful leader in wealth management? Nominate your colleagues. The 50 Top Women in Wealth honors the women who have the most influence on wealth management today, profiling a selection of them in multiple media on AdvisorOne.com and in print in Investment Advisor and Research magazines.

Criteria for 50 Most Influential Women

We want to celebrate the women who epitomize the profession of wealth management. This is not about the size of an investment advisor’s AUM or a broker’s “book” of business or the top person in terms of sales. This is about integrity, longevity, knowledge, community, energy, enthusiasm, entrepreneurship and encouragement.

The 50 we are searching for are women who are their clients’ advocate, their colleagues’ mentor, who contribute to the common good, have a practice; they may or may not run a firm. They can be from the RIA, BD, family office, private banking or money management worlds. We want the leaders, forward thinkers, those who inspire by their excellence. We want a diverse mix of women from across the spectrum of influence on wealth management, from practitioners to attorneys in the sphere to money managers, executives of firms and regulators or legislators.

The 50 Top Women in Wealth will be selected by an advisory board of industry leaders from nominees received by March 31.

The Top Women in Wealth Advisory Board includes:

From the AdvisorOne partner community:

  • Gail Graham, executive vice president, Fidelity Institutional.
  • Joseph Keefe, CEO and president, Pax World Management LLC.
  • Kim Wright-Violich, president of Schwab Charitable.

From the wealth management and RIA community:

  • Sheryl Garrett, founder, The Garrett Planning Network, Inc., a network of 300 registered investment advisors.
  • Deena Katz, associate professor, Personal Financial Planning Division at Texas Tech University, and partner in Evensky & Katz, a registered investment advisor.

From the financial services community:

  • Jennifer Connelly, CEO of JCPR, Inc., a financial services public relations firm.

And AdvisorOne editors:

  • Janet Levaux, managing editor, Research magazine
  • Melanie Waddell, Washington bureau chief at Investment Advisor magazine and The Practice editor, AdvisorOne.com.
  • Kate McBride, Wealth editor-in-chief at AdvisorOne.com.

Nominate your candidate for consideration for the 50 Top Women in Wealth here. Be sure to include:
