7 more creative ways to put your advisor business cards to use

Last week’s Top Tips gave seven creative suggestions for getting your business cards out there. Here are seven more.

1. Drop one in EVERY drawing or contest bowl you see.

2. Leave one with the new neighbor or parent at school you just met.

3. If someone gives you their business card, give them yours.

4. Give one to the door-to-door salesperson who just tried to sell you a vacuum.

5. Drop one in every bill you are paying- especially the bills you are paying to smaller, local companies – you never know who will open that envelope.

6. Take a small stack to each place you frequently do business with and see if they will allow you to leave them for others to pick up.

7. Each person you talk to about business should receive at least three cards – one for them to keep and two for them to pass on as referrals.

You have nothing to lose by giving out a business card – maybe they throw it away, maybe they keep it and never call, or maybe they become a client.
