Humana Inc. has agreed to acquire Concentra Inc., an occupational medicine company, for about $790 million.
Concentra, Addison, Texas, operates about 300 medical centers in the United States that provide occupational medicine, urgent care, physical therapy and wellness services.
The company also runs about 240 worksite clinics.
Concentra has about $800 million in annual revenue.
Humana, Louisville, Ky. (NYSE:HUM), hopes to get the regulatory approvals needed to complete the deal by December.
