AFrame Digital, Inc., and Communications Mid-America have announced a partnership to offer AFrame’s Personal Health Monitor, a personal health care monitoring tool which represents the next generation of health care technology. CMA, which provides health care communication solutions for hospitals and long-term care facilities, will provide AFrame’s MobileCare Monitor service to its health care customers in the Midwest.

The Personal Health Monitor resembles a sports watch and records a wearer’s weight, blood pressure, pulse and blood oxygen levels. In addition, it can detect impacts sustained by the wearer, such as those experienced during a fall. This information is then transmitted over a wireless network to alert caregivers and family members.

“Our clients have been requesting a personal health care communications system for their patients,” said Mary Blackford, CMA’s sales and marketing director. “We feel we have finally found the right technology through AFrame Digital.”
