The Rating Agency Working Group will hold a hearing at 11 a.m. Nov. 18 on use of the major rating agencies’ public finance ratings in insurance regulation.
The working group, part of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), Kansas City, Mo., plans to convene the hearing in New York, at the offices of the New York State Insurance Department.
The hearing will feature participants who represent public bond issuers, participants who represent investors, and participants who represent the big “nationally recognized statistical rating organizations,” or NRSROs.
