The Full Yield Inc. is working with insurers to encourage group health plan enrollees to improve the way they eat.

Full Yield, Danvers, Mass., has set up food wellness plans through alliances with organizations such as Northeast Delta Dental, Concord, N.H., and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Wellesley, Mass.

In addition to blood tests, a step-based exercise program and unlimited telephone and e-mail coaching, Full Yield provides members with access to prepared meals, the company says.

Early results suggest that the program is helping to improve participants' blood pressure, blood cholesterol levels and body mass index levels, organizers say.
