Brown & Brown Acquires Rogers & Norman Assets

A unit of Brown & Brown Inc. is buying most of the assets of Rogers & Norman Inc., a company that sells employee benefits as well as commercial property-casualty insurance.

Brown & Brown, Daytona Beach, Fla. (NYSE:BRO), is not saying how much it is paying for the assets of Rogers & Norman, Seattle.

Rogers & Norman employees will stay in their current offices for now, then move into the Seattle offices of Brown & Brown of Washington Inc., Brown & Brown says.

Rogers & Norman was founded in 1956 and generates about $3.2 million in annual revenue.
