American College to Honor Plybon

The American College will be giving a Huebner Gold Medal award to Robert Plybon.

Plybon, president of Plybon and Associates Inc., Greensboro, N.C., is set to receive the award Dec. 5 at a dinner in New York, according to the American College, Bryn Mawr, Pa.

Plybon, who holds the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant professional designations, is a past president of both the Million Dollar Round Table, Park Ridge, Ill., and the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting, Reston, Va.

He is a past chairman of the American College board, and he also is a past chairman of the board of the Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education, Arlington, Va.
