Legacy Benefits L.L.C., a life settlement provider, has named Zohar Elhanani president and chief executive officer.
Meir Eliav, the founder of Legacy, New York, has been the president of the firm for 19 years, and he will continue to be the company’s chairman.
Elhanani, who joined Legacy about 4 years ago, has been the firm’s chief operating officer. He recently joined the board of the Life Insurance Settlement Association, Orlando, Fla., and he is the U.S. department co-head of the German Life Settlement Association, Berlin. He has a master’s degree in business from Solvay Business School in Brussels.
