Planning groups will be bringing financial planning services to the people this month and next.

Four groups will be running the “Financial Planning Days” campaign in 20 U.S. cities.

The groups are the Financial Planning Association, Denver; the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., Washington; the Foundation for Financial Planning, Tucker, Ga.; and the United States Conference of Mayors, Washington.

Planners will provide free day-long clinics and one-on-one sessions.

The planners will target the counseling at young adults, individuals facing crises or other special life circumstances, and members of underserved communities.

The first events took place Saturday in Miami and Oakland, Calif. The next events are set to take place Oct. 9 in Denver and in Sunnyvale, Calif.
