The Million Dollar Round Table Foundation Haiti Disaster Relief Fund has presented a $93,000 grant to Mercy Ships.
The MDRT Foundation, Park Ridge, Ill., says the grant will help Mercy Ships provide health care in Haiti.
In other insurance philanthropy news:
- Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, New York, is working with L.M. Bravo and Associates Inc., Miami — a firm that markets Guardian products — to sponsor a Girls Going Places Entrepreneurship Conference program in Miami. The program will bring 100 girls ages 12 to 18 together with 25 Miami-Dade County women who active in business.
