The American Association for Long Term Care Insurance (AALTCI) is placing an 8-page consumer guide in the November issue of Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine.

The AALTCI, Westlake Village, Calif., is running the long term care planning advertising supplement to encourage consumers to think more about long term care (LTC) insurance planning.

Kiplinger’s Personal Finance has about 2 million readers.

The insert was financed with the help of John Hancock Life Insurance Company, Boston, a unit of Manulife Financial Corp., Toronto (NYSE:MFC); MetLife Inc., New York (NYSE:MET); Mutual of Omaha, Omaha, Neb.; and Prudential Financial Inc., Newark, N.J. (NYSE:PRU).

November is Long Term Care Awareness Month, and the AALTCI is timing publication of the guide to coincide with the awareness month, the group says.
