Maryland is offering seminars on long term care (LTC) insurance for consumers in the state.

The seminars, to begin in September, are being held in about a dozen locations throughout the state by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

Called “Start the Conversation,” the seminars aim to inform consumers about the state’s LTC insurance partnership program. Topics will include questions to ask when purchasing a policy, LTC provisions under Medicaid and LTC options available for state residents.
