J.G. Wentworth L.L.C. says it has raised $115 million by securitizing notes backed by fixed annuity and structured settlement purchase contracts.
J.G. Wentworth, Bryn Mawr, Pa., a specialty finance firm, previously raised $252 million through a similar note offering in April, and it has completed 21 offerings of that kind since 1997.
J.G. Wentworth buys annuity income streams, structured settlement income streams and other illiquid financial assets.
