The National Insurance Producers Registry has put out a request for proposals for special project accounting services.

NIPR, part of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), Kansas City, Mo., says it needs to hire an accounting firm to provide an opinion about the fairness of the fees the NAIC charges NIPR for administration, licensing and usage.

The accounting work would be done in Kansas City.

NIPR develops and runs systems and databases related to the licensing and appointment of individuals and businesses in the insurance industry.

The NIPR accounting RFP is available here.
